Attack on Titan is the only anime that makes sense for something like this to be posted, I thought it would be interesting if posted on Attack on Titan, Out of curiosity, in 2014 I still didn't follow seasonal anime, I usually made lists based on recommendations from other people or lists from the Internet as a whole. If you want, also comment approximately how many years you have been watching anime!

I watched anime since 2015 but that was when I was a casual watcher and a little kid; only watching the show because of the show and not because it was anime. Examples being: Pokemon, digimon, yo Kai watch, bay blade burst, Yu Gi yo, etc. I then grew up and started watching main stream anime that was on Netflix like one punch man and demon slayer. Then came the summer of 2023 where I then became an otaku and started watching anime all the time after discovering the aristocrat’s otherworldly adventures and isekai anime. And here I am, having watched over 300 anime (I only rate anime I want to hear discussions and topics about so my mal list would be way bigger if I rated all the anime I watched). So I watched anime for 10 yrs but am an otaku for 2 yrs.

I count anime with multiple seasons as just 1.
Otherwise more than 300.

Slightly over 100. And I’ve been watching since January 2024. Anything that has multiple seasons or if it’s a movie, I count it as one. Unless that movie is an extension of something etc.

i should be at 160/170. I count anime with multiple seasons as a single series. Otherwise it's more than 400.
My top 3 is JoJo no Kimyouna Bouken, Monogatari Series, (Persona 3-4-5 but mostly videogames) and Steins;Gate.
I'm following Gintama and I strongly thing it could reach that top 3 once finish it, I'm loving it

Been watching anime since 15 years ago and I started using MAL 3 years ago. My MAL profile says 895 completed but since I started watching anime, I've seen over 1k+.
This season, I dropped 2 shows already (Ugly Girl with Bouquet something and Fermat no Ryouri) while I am watching/plan to watch about 37 anime or so.

Mal says 130 entries but since I count multiple seasons as one I'd say slightly over 100. I've been watching anime "seriously" probably for 5-6 years, starting with One punch man after my brother introduced me to anime. Then I moved straight up to Jojo lol, following my brother's recommendations, and I still don't get how I liked it SO MUCH at such a young age but hey, now it's my favorite anime of all time :).
One of the first anime I encountered when I was little was probably Inazuma Eleven which I love till this day, I'd like to rewatch it one day.
It's weird because I don't like soccer as a sport itself but soccer with powers? Hell yeah. I loved watching it when I was little, good times.

MAL says 1260ish but that's also considering ovas so the real number is likely on the 1100ish but anyways, i like anime, its like my favorite form of entertainment, I watch series and cartoons too but im just so invested in anime that no other format of media gets me that excited.
And ik its a permanent cycle because while i wait for the s2/3/4 of a show i rly want studios will end up dropping some original masterpiece out of nowhere that will get me hooked up too.
part of the reason the count is high is because i always give a chance to any show, only then will i know if its for me or not, none of that stupid mentality of "all isekai is trash" "all sol is boring" "all bl/gl is predatory" "its bad because its old", every show is a show amd deserves an opportunity to give me a good or bad impression.
one thing that i take from it is the sheer amount of shows i can name from top of my head and characters i can recognize from edits/wallpapers/tatoos, etc. still i like to stay truthful to my list MAL doesn't award u from having more or less shows watched, if u mark a show as seen but cannot remember it nor have at least an opinion on it then its liking you're farming exp on a clicker simulator 😅

Anyway I just watch what seems fun from the trailers and the animes that include my favourite voice actors / actresses. I'm not the kind of person to watch all animes in a season just to say I rate 3/4 of them under 3/10.

If we count all the anime shorts, commercials and music videos that are listed as individual entries on this platform, I could easily get to 400 to 500 entries I guess, but I'm too lazy to add them to my list and also I think they'd "clog" it with pointless garbage, so counting only the important stuff I'd say that I've watched about 250 anime.

I've actually watched more than 200 but I've forgotten the names of some I watched a long time ago. my first anime was Shinchan and I was around 5 or 6 then. but after that I didn't watch anything cause I couldn't connect with the Japanese culture.
it was only in 2021, first year of college, going through a pretty bad depressing phase that I got into anime. Found Barakamon. inspired me. and then it went on. I would like to add that anime made me appreciate small things.
